Our Objectives
Chariots of Destiny’s principal objectives include: -
- Advocating for, providing and expanding support and services to persons with disabilities especially those on wheelchairs in public transport by introducing wheelchair accessible vehicles
- Advocating for road safety both locally and internationally to reduce the number of people killed and injured every year as a result of road crashes
- Making basic education accessible to persons with disabilities on wheelchairs through computer training such as the use of voice activated software
- Raising public awareness and addressing the prejudice, stereotypes, and attitudes that can harm or exclude persons with disabilities on wheelchairs
- Empowering caregivers, parents, friends and families of persons with disabilities on wheelchairs by training them and fostering their participation in realizing that persons rights
- Influencing changes in disability policies, practices, ideas and beliefs in Kenya.
