The Chariots of Destiny Organization, (C.O.D) is a non profit organization whose mission is to advocate for road safety both locally and internationally with an aim to stabilize and eventually reduce the number of individuals killed and injured as a result of road crashes.
The Chariots of Destiny Organization also aims toempower individuals living with Spinal Cord Injuries by providing opportunities to live productive lives post injury, escape the bondage of social discrimination, ignorance and cultural myths associated with disability and to become as independent as possible after injury.
One of the principal goals of Chariots of Destiny is Road Safety Advocacy focused on minimizing death and injury on the roads
On the 9th to the 11th of November, members of the Chariots of Destiny Organization joined over 100 delegates present to attend the Second African Road Safety Conference. This conference held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia aimed at examining and validating the African Road Safety Action Plan devised for the ongoing Decade of Action for Road Safety as well as agreeing on a mobilization strategy to support the implementation of the Action Plan.
