
Later that evening he presented his commendation award to the Chariots of Destiny Organization in recognition of what the organization has achieved to raise awareness in Kenya and further across the world in regard to road safety. Casey Marenge Founder and Executive Director of the Chariots of Destiny organization-was there to receive the award on behalf of COD.
He also presented a second award to Chevron for its international commitment shown through its Arrive Alive Programme which has made significant strides in road safety in Guatemala, Nigeria, South Africa and Uganda.
He presented a third award to the Fleet Forum on its successful road safety programme targeting the UN and vehicle fleets of the humanitarian organizations.

Also present at the event was Make Roads Safe global ambassador and celebrity actress Michelle Yeoh, Minister for transport Kenya Chirau Ali Makwere, Minister for transport. Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa as well as several other dignitaries and representatives from the road safety industry. This was indeed a great achievement and milestone for COD.
