COD with the Make Roads Safe Campaign, SafeKids Organization 20th Anniversary Washington, DC - October 16, 2008

SafeKids worldwide is an International organization dedicated solely to preventing unintentional death and injury in children. Accidents kill one million children every year around the world and most of these injuries are preventable.  More children aged 1 to 14 are injured and killed as a result of several causes including motor vehicle crashes. The Chariots of Destiny Organization participated at the organization conference representing the Make Roads Safe campaign. 35% of pedestrians killed on Kenyan roads are children and the COD team got to speak about the efforts put forward to advocate for road safety in the country!
