Profile and History
 Chariots of Destiny is a Non Governmental Organisation headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya founded in 2006 by Casey Marenge to support the full and effective access of persons with disabilities to suitable means of transportation to enable their full integration in the social life and development. Our main program in this regard is the Smooth Ride Project where Chariots of Destiny together with its partners intend to purchase wheelchairs and wheelchair accessible vehicles to be used on a pilot basis in Nairobi and thereafter rolled out to other parts of the region.
One of the principal goals of Chariots of Destiny is Road Safety Advocacy focused on minimizing death and injury on the roads. Chariots of Destiny activities in this regard include:-
- Urging for action on Road Safety aimed at influencing, informing and assisting decision and policy makers
- Conducting and documenting studies and numbers on road safety as we realize that only with good information can good decisions be made
- Targeted media and the general public campaigns
 The Chariots of Destiny Organization also aims to advocate and advance the lives and protect the dignity of persons with disabilities. This is to be achieved through the promotion of equal access to employment, education, information, goods and services and provision of basic necessities for example wheelchairs through our "Adopt a chair" project.
