The Chariots of Destiny Organization, (C.O.D) is a non profit organization whose mission is to advocate for road safety both locally and internationally with an aim to stabilize and eventually reduce the number of individuals killed and injured as a result of road crashes.
The Chariots of Destiny Organization also aims toempower individuals living with Spinal Cord Injuries by providing opportunities to live productive lives post injury, escape the bondage of social discrimination, ignorance and cultural myths associated with disability and to become as independent as possible after injury.

The Chariots of Destiny Organization (COD) partnered with HP East Africa to launch a project called "Bags of a New Destiny"(BAND).This first of its kind project aims to provide education and information to persons living with a spinal cord injury so as to enable them to live a productive life post-injury.
When somebody sustains a spinal cord injury (SCI), they will need anything from three months to a couple of years of rehabilitation in a hospital before they are ready to go back into normal life. This rehabilitation will teach the person how to manage the physical aspects of their disability, such as bladder and bowel function, use of a wheelchair and other assistive devices, and pressure care, as well as giving them resources to address issues such as independent living and employment.
